Nate Fancher is a singer-songwriter and musician based in Houston, Texas where he serves as Worship Pastor at Southstone Church.

For Nate, worship isn’t a genre or a Sunday time slot. It’s the whole point.

Look at what God said:

1 Peter 2:9—But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Or how about…

Psalm 150:6—Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.

In 1 Corinthians 9, the apostle Paul says he became all things to all people, that by all means he might save some.

Many paths, one goal. That’s how Nate sees his life: above everything else, he is a worship leader. And that isn’t only about standing on a stage and singing.

Everyone Leads Worship

The word “worship” has come to mean a musical genre, or a weekly religious experience for churchgoers. Nate wants to help people rediscover something bigger: we all lead worship.

In 2020, when everyone was stuck at home, he started a YouTube channel about exactly that. Here’s the first vlog:

Ministry & Music

Nate has served in worship ministry for more than 20 years across five churches. From 2014 to 2016 he was managing editor of CentricWorship for Centricity Music Publishing. From 2002 to 2009 he was the lead singer of the Christian rock band Mali, and for the last 20 years he has written and independently released his own music. Listen to the music here.
